WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2009, we are a medium-sized billboard operator based in Louisiana. We offer digital, static and mobile billboard options, as well as customized media procurement for organizations of all sizes. We can be your one-stop-shop for all things advertising or you can lease one billboard from us. What we do best is customer service and our pricing is also great. For these reasons, most of our customers have been with us for several years and their prices have never increased.
Our History
Upward Outdoor started out as a part of Big Creek Investments LLC in 2009 with the purchase of Tassin Outdoor Advertising. From there, Big Creek built several more structures and then purchased five more structures from Stark Outdoor Advertising. When Big Creek’s billboard business had grown to such a size that it needed to be its own entity, Upward Outdoor Media was birthed in July 2021. We built our first digital Board in November 2021 and have continued to grow since then. We are currently looking for new locations or existing locations for sale.
Our founder, Lucas LaCour, grew up in Colfax, LA. He has since gone on to achieve his bachelor’s in forestry from Louisiana Tech. He is also a graduate of Louisiana State University’s Executive Program. Lucas also earned a Masters in Pastoral Ministry at Louisiana College. Lucas now lives in Lake Charles with his wife Ashley and their four children: Faith, Ryan, Daniel and Maci. Lucas enjoys missions, saltwater fishing, duck hunting and CrossFit.
